Taking care of your GORE-TEX® or WINDSTOPPER® garment is really easy. A general rule is to always follow the washing instructions recommended in the garment.

  • Wash at 40 degrees
  • The cleaner the garment, the better it will breathe
  • Tumble-dry warm
  • Do not bleach

Goggle Care

There are a few easy procedures you can carry out to preserve your goggles life and keep them blur-free. They may seem simple, but they will go a long way to ensuring your goggles last longer and stay in a good condition.

Rinse

Ensure you rinse your goggles in fresh cold water as this will wash off any chlorine or salt that may be on them, depending on where you are swimming. Make sure you let your goggles dry as much as possible before storing them again. Any leftover water residue in the goggles could result in a growth of mold or bacteria, which will damage the goggles.

Anti-Fog

To ensure your google lenses don’t blur and fog up, you should treat them with a solution every so often. Any anti-fog goggle solution will work; Just apply the recommended amount to the lenses and you will prolong a clearer vision from your goggles.

GORE-TEX® Care Guide

The GORE-TEX®  membrane is highly durable and will not be spoiled.

A recommendation is to use ironing or tumble dry as heat improves the impregnation of the fabrics. If you treat your garments with care and follows the easy recommendations you will stay satisfied with your GORE-TEX® or WINDSTOPPER® products.

Care Instructions for GORE-TEX® Products

The cleaner the garment, the better it will breathe.

  • Our recommendations are to wash in 40 degrees with a soft detergent (any on the market), use no softener.
  • Rinse it twice if possible.
  • Dry the garments by tumble-drying or by ironing.
  • Use low temperature when tumble drying. The heat actually helps activate the surface treatment.
  • Do not bleach your garments.
  • Generally do not dry clean, but if professionally dry-cleaned, request clear distilled solvent rinse and spray repellent.
  • To remove a stubborn stain, test a small hidden area with a commercial stain remover before using it on a place that shows. You may find certain stains have to be removed professionally.
  • Rinse well.

Wetsuit Care Guide

Soak, clean and Dry

As soon as you get the chance, soak your wetsuit in fresh water and hang it out to dry; Pay particular attention to your suit if you have been in salt water as chloride crystallises when dried and will jeopardise the outer material. Get rid of any sand or small sea material that may be in or on your suit as they will wear away fabrics if left there. Make sure you wash and soak both inside and out.

Storage

Don’t hang your wetsuit from a normal hanger as the weight of the garment will cause stretching in its material, which will eventually lead to creasing. Use a wide hanger or fold your wetsuit once on the floor.

NOTE

  • Always use cold water to wash your wetsuit with.
  • Never iron your wetsuit
  • Never put your wetsuit in a washing machine – Even on a cold cycle, water residues can cause a lot of harm.
  • Never use general washing chemicals while soaking your garment – Only ever use solutions which have been specifically designed for the purpose of washing wetsuits.
